Our client, a renowned and well-established professional not-for-profit organization with a collaborative and inclusive culture that promotes work-life balance and mental well being is looking for a People and Development Specialist to join its dynamic team!

Reporting into the Manager, Development and HR Systems, HRBP, the incumbent will plan, design and operate policy, large programs and processes on the development side of the company’s talent management.

Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to

• Evaluate company’s development needs (individual, departmental and Organizational)
• Implementing all talent, leadership and team planning processes, policies, and procedures with client groups (succession planning, leadership selection and assessment, leadership development planning)
• Assist the Human Resources team in administrating ongoing and new initiatives
• Develop company’s performance management system, assessing what is in place and what needs to be added or changed
• Learning and development initiatives (functional training, expertise in design, etc.)

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or a related field
• 7 years of similar relevant experience
• Expert in training needs analysis, design & development, performance management systems, succession planning programs
• Strong understanding of learning methodologies
• Expertise in training needs analysis
• Tools to transfer learning to people
• E-learning platforms experience
