Our client is looking to add an Assistant Controller to act as a key member in the management of the accounting cycle, responsible for the financial integrity of the company. Job location is in Brampton. 

Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to

• Coordinate the month-end process, including the preparation of various reports
• Responsible for the weekly payroll cycle
• Produce monthly GST reports
• Contribute to the production of month-end and year-end reports and financial statements
• Support the team in accounting transactions
• Audit payroll before submission
• Review inventory and ensure the information is recorded accurately

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• ERP experience is considered a strong asset
• Strong business acumen
• Detail oriented and analytical
• CPA considered a strong asset
